Evolution and Impact of Animation on Audiences

There are various types of animation styles, but primarily 5 are used.These would be Traditional  animation, 2D  animation, 3D  animation, Stop  motion, and  Motion  graphics.Traditional animation is the oldest form of animation, and it is also known as cel animation. This animation style was frequently used in the early films of Walt Disney Animation Studios.This type of animation is a lengthy process and is not used frequently anymore. 2D animation, also known as vector-based animation, helps reduce production time in animating because they don't have to sketch every frame. Examples of 2D animation are frequent, especially in shows and video games. 3D animation, or computer animation can be made using animation Software's. This particular animation has a 3D effect and can add more depth to a scene.

Objects can be created through a specific modeling tool or by scanning real objects through a computer. 3D animation is now common in the modern era, and is used frequently in Disney. Stop motion animation is made by using one frame at a time, and having physical items or objects being moved within each frame. Puppets with moveable joints are commonly used in Stop motion animation, along with clay figures that are malleable. This type of animation is not  used as frequently due to advancements in 3D animation, though there are many filmmakers who still continue to work with Stop motion animation, including Tim Burton. The last animation we will be discussing is Motion graphics, which is a type of animation that relies on text in order to communicate a message. Motion graphics may be used in the development of video titles, logo graphics, and digital marketing. This type of animation can be used to highlight certain ideas in a work of media in order to make them stand out. And if the animation is done correctly, it can have a large impact on the audience that views it.
